Issue No.112 – May 2022 : Shawwal 1443
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked for advice that would enhance one’s spiritual
state, he is reported to have said, “Say; I believe in Allah, and then be steadfast.” (Muslim)
This Hadith highlights the importance of emphatically uttering the proclamation of faith
(Imaan), and then living by the utterance by steadfastly acting in a manner that
affirms the proclamation of faith.
Alhamdulillah! Our determination and striving to comply with Deeni injunctions in Ramadhaan
was at its peak. We did not only observe abstinence from all Haraam activities but also
abstained from things, which are normally permitted outside of Ramadhaan. Whilst we rightly
attached great importance to this during the month of Ramadhaan, the laws on Halaal and
refraining from Haraam remain the same throughout the year.
As we diligently continue serving the Ummah on Halaal assurance, we take this opportunity of
extending our sincere appreciation and hearty wishes of Eid to the inheritors of the knowledge
of the Prophets (peace be upon them) i.e. our illustrious Ulama who together
with Masaajid officials and congregants kept the spirit of Ramadhaan alive.
May Allah Ta’ala reward them, graciously accept all our acts of dedication and devotion in the
month of Ramadhaan, and bring to fruition the fervent du’aas of the Ummah, Aameen.
On behalf of all at SANHA, we wish you and your family a joyous EID MUBARAK and
request your du’aas.
