Issue No. 246 : April 2024 – Ramadhaan 1445
As the crescent moon of Shawwāl appears, signaling the end of the blessed month of Ramadhān, we stand at the threshold of a new chapter. The Ramadhān Revolution to Eid has taught us that we all have within us the inherent capacity and power to change and lead a life of submission and obedience. The Ramadhān journey is a testament to the strength of our collective spirit and our unwavering commitment to uphold the teachings of the Shari’ah.
During the entire month, we demonstrated our ability to transcend our earthly desires and embrace a life of discipline and piety. We fasted from dawn till dusk, not only refraining from food and drink but also nourishing our souls with additional prayers, recitation of the Qur’ān and the increased remembrance of Allāh Ta’ālā. We displayed empathy and compassion towards the less fortunate, embodying the true essence of Islam.
As we bid farewell to Ramadhān, let us carry forward the momentum of this spiritual revolution into the days ahead. Let us continue to fulfill our obligations, beginning with the consumption of only Halaal foods, which forms the basis of acceptance of our supplications and Deeni obligations. A body nourished by goodness will naturally manifest goodness in all aspects of life.
As we rejoice in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, the Trustees, Management and Staff at SANHA extends its warmest wishes to all. May the Almighty Allah accept our prayers and acts of devotion during Ramadhān, showering us with His abundant blessings in this world and the Hereafter. Āmīn.
Onwards with the revolution of righteousness, compassion, and piety…
Eid Mubarak!
