To every Muslim on this planet, irrespective of racial, cultural, geographical and political differences, our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam is Allah Ta’ala’s greatest creation and was sent as a Mercy for all Mankind

“Indeed Allah conferred a great favour on the Believers when he sent to them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting unto them His verses, and purifying them, and teaching them the Book (Qur’an) and Al-Hikmah, (the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet), while before that they had been in manifest error.” (Chapter 3: Verse 164)

As we herald in Rabi’-ul-Awwal, the month of the birth of our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, it is a good time to reflect and remind ourselves of his place in our lives as Allah Ta’ala tells us, “The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves…”  (Chapter 33: Verse 6)

As the perfect Exemplar and our source of Divine Knowledge, he taught us the laws of Halaal and Haraam to implement in all aspects of our daily lives.

The greatest commemoration of his life is keeping alive his teachings by reading, understanding, following the Qur’an and emulating his lifestyle and Sunnah throughout the year. Take this month as an opportunity to build on Prophetic habits such as visiting the sick & elderly, giving charity and even sharing a smile.

Undoubtedly, he is a role model, not only to Muslims, but to humanity at large. Spread his teachings amongst people and reap eternal reward.

As part of the commemoration of Rabi’-ul-Awwal, SANHA has, in collaboration with the IPCI, made available the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat’s publications, ‘Muhammed the Greatest’ and ‘Muhammed, the Natural Successor to Christ’ available for download onto your device.
